TBWA/NEBOKO assignment for KPN

In october we shot a huge assignment for KPN telecom. It was great working with my team and art director Paul Rietveld. He's a great photographer himself. Let's do some more of this stuff. Everything has been published by now. Nice to see your own work all over the place.

This is something I really love to make! Inspired by the art of painting. I would love to be a painter. But I can't even make a descent drawing. So I better stick to the camera.

The day before yesterday we made this portrait of the Belgium architect Alfredo De Gregorio. What a nice guy. Thanks again for the delicious lunch !

King Kooper

A little while ago we photographed King Kooper. He's a brilliant saxophone player. He's working with all the big names in the industry. We shot him for his website and new album. This is a shot which hasn't been used, but I like it anyway. Graphic design agency Hoax gave us the opportunity to work with King Kooper. Hoax is a young, enthusiastic and very creative couple of guys. Check out their site here. Thanx guys!

Update

Just a quick update. We've been pretty busy lately; portraits, animation movie, CD covers, magazines and a fantastic advertising job for a major brand, which I cannot show until Christmas. Anyway lots of good work and lots of energy!

 

EYES&LOOKS

I can't seem to get enough of eyes and looks. I love it. For Management Team we shot a big series of portraits. We also made these. Perhaps not suitable for the magazine, but I like them.  :-)  Thanx Luis and Koen.

FRIEND

Last week I photographed my friend Gerbrand. He is running a great company called ENGAGETV. He doing really cool stuff! Thanx Gerbrand.

COLORS

A little while ago we portrayed mister Mitrasing for a medical magazine. It took a while but this is what I had in mind. Very simple with just one strobe and my loyal Leaf back on my Hasselblad. I really like the colors.

Just playing around with colors. I like that a lot. Yesterday we shot Joke Zwanikken-Leenders. What a remarkable woman !

We've been so busy working, I've had little time to do some updates. Anyway, last week we photographed Tessa in the studio. What a joy !

For Sprout Magazine we shot the 2 CEO's of Conclusion. 

 

For their CD cover we photographed the blues band TROUBLE NO MORE. This is the band Job is playing in. They have just finished recording a fantastic album, to be released soon. Besides a briljant assistant, Job is an excellent saxophone player too !!! 

RED HEADS for QUEST

Last Saterday, for Quest Magazine, we shot Midas Dekkers, a famous dutch biologist, with a love for natural reds. Women with truley red hair. We had lots of fun ! You can view some pictures of ''the making of'' HERE. Thanks Gaby !

Portraits with Epson

 

In collaboration with Epson, we made a lot of beautiful portraits today during the Professional Imaging 2011. We have a little studio setup, and are allowed to do whatever we like. And the wonderful guys of Epson made it possible to print a large amount of portraits. Right on the spot. Tomorrow and the next day we can play around some more. All of the above is shot with a Profoto Mola reflector. Profoto was so kind to help us out with some gear. This Mola is absolutely fantastic : beautiful light.
